This is a three-part Lesson wherein Student(s) will follow a roadmap to entrepreneurship, introducing young or new entrepreneurs to the foundational steps of starting a business. Over four weeks, students will explore the basic elements of business creation, organizational strategies, financial management, marketing approaches, and sales evaluation. The course continues with a review of progress and planning for growth, equipping students with both practical tools and confidence to launch their first venture. This Lesson is designed to help understand what it takes to really start and operate a small business in real time working towards real results.
Students will learn from an entrepreneur with 35 years of experience, starting from my first formal and successful business at 16 years old. See my Vita on my website: www.MSHRLessons.com. This Lesson is in three parts and will walk each Student down the path of how to start and run a legal and cash-producing business, from thought, to theory, to totality in design and product. This will be a hands-on class with the Student actually creating a business that will produce cash-flow; i.e. Lemonade Stand, Cookie Shop, Hand-Made Belts, Yard Sale Picker, Lawn Mowing, Pet Sitting, Online Instruction, etc. Parent participation is encouraged but not required.
