This is an eight-part Lesson wherein Student(s) will get a first-hand look at how Messianic prophecy is woven throughout all seven Feasts and Festivals found in Leviticus 23. In chronological order, these Feast Days are unpacking Torah commands, historical Israelite meanings, and Messianic prophetic significance, providing a layered view of how they operate on three levels at once: past, present and future. Visual aids will assist in creating a prophetic chart that visually shows the Torah commands pointing to the Messianic fulfillment (First or Second Coming) all in one glance, so that one can see the depth of the prophetic pattern.
In academic education, Messianics is the cross-cultural transmission of Torah (First five Books of the Old Testament) the Tanakh (Entire Old Testament) and the Good News of Yahshua (Jesus Christ) in the New Testament. The purpose of this historic Lesson is to lay out for discussion and research, the fulfillment of prophecies by Yahshua as THE Cornerstone of Messianic theology; particularly in understanding the life and mission of Jesus Christ as depicted in the Gospels.
Students will learn to recognize one’s purpose through the lens of salvation by researching situation specific information in the Bible about the ‘Three Dimensions of Salvation, Justification – Being declared righteous before God, Yahweh, Sanctification – Growing in holiness and freedom from sin’s power, present tense; and Glorification – Final perfection in Yahweh’s presence, future tense. The fulfillment of prophecy on the cross, is the fulfillment of Messianic prophecies, such as Isaiah 53 and Psalm 22, where the Messiah suffers for all.
