This is a timely Lesson where Students will be exposed to 21st Century technology, transhumanism, robots, cyborgs, and techno-humans. In a fast-paced changing world, the human is getting some upgrades; but are they ethical, or healthy, or moral? Student will learn about the concept of reaching human perfection as juxtaposed with Creation, anthropomorphic dynamics, our ubiquitous cyber-world, the next evolutionary advancement for mankind, biotechnologies, genetic cures, cloning, and nanotechnology. Students will learn about the work of Francis Bacon, Rene Descartes, and Julian Huxley. How qualitative distinction is markedly different from dimensional distinction in scientific experimentation, reliability, hypothesis, observation, and validity. Theology and science are seen as competing theories. Student will explore neural modification, ethical monitoring, and modern philosophical views of Locke and Hume vs. Biblical wisdom.
